PYA is seeking Healthcare Consulting Interns to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation in Summer 2026. This unique role provides the right candidate a cross-sectional experience within PYA’s collaborative consulting department and will enhance the candidate’s healthcare industry knowledge and expertise.
Areas of focus for the Healthcare Consulting Interns could be but is not limited to:
- Compensation Valuation and Design
- Transaction Advisory Services
- Business Valuation
- Healthcare Strategy
- Healthcare Revenue and Compliance Advisory
- Healthcare Operations Assessment and Improvements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the successful completion of various healthcare client projects within a team environment by solving strategic issues requiring analytical, financial, and writing skills
- Assist with research and data analysis for client proposals, reports, and presentations
- Display a curiosity to learn from experienced leaders who support and guide our team
POSITION TYPE
- 40 hours/week
- May – August 2026
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuit of relevant education may include:
- Accounting, finance, or other analytical business disciplines
- Public Health or Health Administration degrees
- Outstanding written or oral communication skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Creative problem-solving skills with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with a passion for helping clients
- Demonstrated experience self-reviewing work product and exhibiting attention to detail
