Performs recruitment, retention and related employment activities for all positions in specified administrative area. Identifies and develops recruitment strategies to meet the needs of position vacancies and evaluates the effectiveness.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interviews, evaluates, refers, and follows up with applicants for employment consideration after initial screenings, licensure and references are complete.
- Coordinates post offer screenings after preliminary offer is made.
- Identifies, develops and evaluates recruitment strategies to meet the staffing needs of the health system.
- Attends and actively participates in local, state and professional organizations supporting recruitment.
- Plans, participates and promotes events for health care career awareness.
- Nurtures health care careers within the community and region.
- Attends career fairs and conferences to recruit applicants.
- Assists in development of new recruitment and retention strategies.
- Tracks, evaluates and reports outcomes.
- Conducts exit interviews.
- Reviews turnover, vacancy rates and identifies recruiting and retention issues based on data/evidence.
- Prepares spreadsheets, reports and documents.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be enrolled in a Human Resources or Related Program
- Interest in HR Employment/Recruitment
- Effective Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Microsoft Office – must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (evidence required)
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
