SUMMARY
Under supervision of the Information Technology Director or delegated technical staff, the Information Technology Intern will assist Information Technology staff to perform basic level work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

- Assist with help desk calls, scheduling, and tickets.
- Basic end-user support to prevent customer service delays for basic technical issues.
- Under IT staff guidance, perform computer imaging, staging and installation.
- Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation.
- Under the guidance of IT staff, inventory technology equipment and software.
- Field work and interacting with customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of basic technical skills and aptitude to learn technology to help support GBC/GCA staff, students, and families.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Interest or demonstrated experience with computer hardware or software.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
The selected candidate must possess a valid social security number, valid driver’s license and a current working home/cell telephone with a number that can be accessed by management personnel for business contact purposes.
